And February is here!
Going around the aisles of Om Book Store in Gurgaon, a thought suddenly occurred, ”I am doing too much heavy reading, let’s take a break!”. Since I am already going through major life experiences, I thought why not take a break and celebrate February with some great love stories? After all, February is all about flowers, chocolates, romance and off course, Books!
So, my February #TBR is going to be only about Romantic fictions and some amazing chick-lit that I am planning to read. Here’s what I have in the list;
Our Impossible Love by Durjoy Datta
Talking about February Love, so how can we not add our lovely Indian romantic fiction author Durjoy Datta. His books are deemed to make you meet your dream guy. His latest novel, Our Impossible Love is a love story between a teenager and her counselor. Aisha, a late bloomer and a scholar, is busy figuring out what it means to be a woman. Danish, is a self proclaimed failure and a confused idiot, who has gotten the job of a student counselor in Aisha’s school, thanks to his father’s contacts. What happens when they both meet to help each other out is what makes this book really good to read.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
From the bestselling author of Eleanor and Park, Fangirl is another great book to read this February. The story is about Cath and Wren who are identical twins who do everything together. Now, they both are off to University and Wren has decided that she doesn’t want to be one half of a pair anymore. But it’s not that easy for Cath. Cath is someone who prefers to date guys from her fan fiction writing world rather than experience true love. But then, the changing life of twins makes Cath experience love away from her Fan fiction.
Two’s Company by Jill Mansell
There’s glamour, perfection, beauty and status in life of Mandevilles. Celebrity couple Jack and Cass Mandevilles have a life that many would kill for. And their kids are best at what they do. A trio of Top Model, Handsome Comedian and a nerd who will blossom soon into something great. Nothing can go wrong with Mandevilles, until one day a gorgeous blonde arrives to interview Jack and Cass. A day when Mandevilles realize that they are not that perfect after all..
See Me by Nicholas Sparks
We call him the Master of Love! If you haven’t read a Nicholas Spark, you haven’t felt love through books. His new book, See Me is a story about two people who are not looking for love, but find it eventually when their paths cross. Colin wants to focus on getting his teaching degree and avoiding people who have proven to be destructive for his life in the past. Maria is a hardworking lawyer who has never really understood what love is. When their paths cross, they fall in love. But before they can envision a life together, ghosts from Maria’s past began to haunt them both and push them to a breaking point..
So that’s all I am planning to read this February. In case you have some amazing Romantic novels on your mind, please share with us on the comments section and I will add it in our February #TBR.
Happy February and Happy Reading! 🙂
